⭐ Program Highlights

Construction Standards Highlights (July 2023 to June 2024)

  • Continue to maintain next-day inspections
  • Continue to have a two-day turnaround on residential reviews
  • Exceeded benchmark on two-week commercial plan review (currently 7-10 days)
  • Added a bilingual permit associate, now have bilingual on building/plumbing team, electrical/mechanical team as well as office staff
  • Continue to collaborate with Concord, Kannapolis and Cabarrus Health Alliance on providing customers with “one stop shop” for plan review, permitting and inspections
  • Added Harrisburg to the Accela process and continue to collaborate to provide a "one stop shop" for customers through Harrisburg and County
  • Contractor SelectTXT usage continues to increase
  • Continue to receive positive customer service feedback from contractors, The Homebuilders Association and design professionals
