Date set for final DSS Health Fair of 2025

Cabarrus County Social Services (DSS) is hosting its fourth and final Health Fair of 2025 on Friday, Dec. 12. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cabarrus County EMS Headquarters, 793 Cabarrus Ave. W.

DSS is partnering with local organizations to provide free health resources, cold-weather gear (while supplies last) and free lunch sponsored by Monarch.

Vendors include WellCare, United Healthcare, Cooperative Christian Ministry, Breast Cancer Hub, Partners Health Management, Youth Villages and over a dozen more.

Now through Dec. 5, DSS is collecting new or gently used scarves, gloves, hats, coats and blankets, along with new socks, to distribute at the Health Fair.

Donation drop-off locations include:

  • Cabarrus County EMS, 793 Cabarrus Ave. W, Concord
  • Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, 30 Corban Ave. SE, Concord
  • Cabarrus County DSS, 1303 S Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis
  • Lively Therapy, 1401 South Ridge Ave., Kannapolis

Food and clothing donations will also be accepted at the event.
