Medicaid beneficiaries now receive Medicaid services as NC Medicaid Managed Care. Beneficiaries will receive care through a health plan's network of doctors. Some beneficiaries won't enroll with health plans, but remain in NC Medicaid Direct. You can get more information about the health plans. Use the Beneficiary Help Center to get answers about NC Medicaid Managed Care.
NC Medicaid eligibility rules are not changing. For questions about your eligibility, contact your local Social Services Department (DSS).
If you have questions about your PCP or want to change PCPs, contact your health plan at the number on your ID card.
Your medications are still covered in NC Medicaid Managed Care. Prescription copays for all health plans will remain the same as they were in NC Medicaid Direct. For questions, contact your health plan.
If you want to change your health plan, contact the Enrollment Broker at 833-870-5500 (TTY: 833-870-5588).
You can schedule a ride to your medical appointment by calling your health plan. Your health plan's number is on your Medicaid ID card.
