The Landfill accepts construction and demolition debris and yard waste from:

commercial businesses
homeowners
currently not accepting construction and demolition waste in roll off trucks or whole home and commercial building tear downs

Mulch (when available) is for sale every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 4:30 pm at the landfill. Contact the landfill scale house for availability and current prices.

Fee Schedule - Effective July 1, 2026 (subject to $2 per ton NC disposal tax)

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Construction and demolition waste will not be accepted for the landfill after 4:45 pm (4:30 pm for hand unloads), Monday - Friday

On Friday, July 3, Construction and demolition waste will not be accepted for the landfill after 1:30 pm

Saturday, 8 am - 2 pm

Construction and demolition waste will not be accepted for the landfill after 11:45 am (11:30 am for hand unloads), Saturdays
