May 14, 2018 --CTW takes a quick trip to the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau in Concord. The visitor’s center is your one-stop shop for locals and travelers to learn more about destinations in Cabarrus.

May 6-12 is National Travel and Tourism week and the visitor center is hosting Travel Rally Day with destination employees to celebrate the positive impact of travel in Cabarrus County.

This year’s theme for travel week is “Travel Then and Now,” and recognizes the contributions and accomplishments of the U.S. travel community over the course of the last several decades. You can get in on the celebration by using #ThenAndNowCabarrus with old photos of destinations in our area.

Not just for visitors, locals can plan a staycation when friends and family visit or as a resource to explore your own community. The 2018-2019 Cabarrus County, NC Destination and Motorsports Guide is a 76-page publication and is a comprehensive resource to the county’s attractions, lodging and shopping options, full-service restaurants, historical sites, and, sports and recreation facilities.

Your one-stop resource for exploring Cabarrus is also great for insider information, inspiration and a few freebies.
