VIDEO: Happening in Cabarrus This Week, February 25

CTW visits the newest exhibition at The Galleries, “Selections.” Strong lines and vibrant colors, demonstrated through a mixture of glass, paper, paint and metal mediums makes “Selections” a collection that will evoke a spectrum of reactions from its viewers.

Open now through Thursday, April 18, “Selections” features eight artists that will evoke emotions and encourage curiosities.

A variety of public events are planned around the exhibition. You can take a closer look, Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m. Join three of the artists for a deeper look at their artistic processes and stories behind their works.

The Cabarrus Arts Council curates four galleries on the first floor of the 1876 historic Cabarrus courthouse located at 65 Union St. S, Concord.

They are open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission and activities are free.
