Cabarrus This Week--October 28
Election Day is next week and early voting is happening now. CTW is at the Harrisburg Presbyterian Church off Hwy 49—just one of four early voting locations. Cabarrus residents can vote early at the Cabarrus Board of Elections Office, Concord Fire Station #9, Harrisburg Presbyterian Church or the Kannapolis Train Depot.
Local decisions often have the most impact on our day-to-day lives. On the Board of Elections website, CabarrusCounty.us/elections, you can elect to be informed. Technology lets you pull up your personalized voting information, including a sample of your actual ballot and your poling location. Research campaign finance reports and on election night visit the site for election results.
To vote on November 6, you’ll need to visit your assigned polling location. YOU DO NOT NEED A PHOTO ID, just your name and CURRENT address.
Those not registered to vote can register and vote on the same day during early voting, only. You can cast your vote early at one of the four early voting locations, October 29-November 2, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday, November 3, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, the polls for all precincts open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
Your vote matters. For more information on voting, to view your personalized sample ballot or find your polling location, visit the Board of Elections Office, 369 Church Street North, Concord, go online at CabarrusCounty.us/Elections or call 704-920-2860.
