Have a blast with Discovery Day Camp

On this week's CTW...

Discovery day camp.jpgJuly 1, 2013 -- Summer fun has begun! Kids across Cabarrus County are spending their vacation learning and playing at Discovery Day Camp at Frank Liske Park. Now through August 16, campers can spend the whole day, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., at the park, where they’ll participate in arts-and-crafts, trips, games, sports, movies, educational sessions and more.
Through the years, the camp has become a favorite with locals and surrounding communities. If your child is already committed to other events this summer, no worries, you can use Discovery Day camp to fill in gaps between time with the grandparents and family vacations. There are no restrictions on the number of weeks you can participate in Discovery Day Camp, and there is still time to sign up for one of the remaining sessions. The camp costs $125 per week and registration closes the Wednesday prior to a given week of camp.
To learn how your kids can join the fun of Discovery Day Camp, now through August 16, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., contact Ben Sharpe at 704-920-2702 or email bsharpe@cabarruscounty.us.
