October 7, 2013 – We visited the Midland Magic Festival, a family friendly event that celebrates the charm, familiarity and excitement of a growing southern town.
In its 12th year, the festival brought together families on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6.  It’s an affordable event with something for everyone—attendees could take part in great food, rides and other fun events. The crowds enjoyed a car show, dog show, fireworks, carnival rides and great music.MidlandMagic210-13.jpg
The friendly competition continued with a BBQ Cook-off, co-sponsored by Midland Magic, and the Fire & Iron Firefighters Motorcycle Club-Station 92. Proceeds of the cook-off were shared with the Wounded Warrior Project and Midland Magic Festival.
If you weren’t able to attend this year, be on the lookout for next year’s event. It’s one you and your family won’t want to miss. To learn more about the history of the Midland Magic Festival and everything it has to offer, visit www.Midlandmagic.net.
