Currently, the Division is responsible for the enforcement in the County, and the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. The Division’s workload is principally complaint generated. The Division receives a substantial number of complaints each year concerning alleged violations. Each one is investigated to determine whether a violation exists. Non–residential construction is monitored to ensure that specific guidelines are followed for commercial development.
