New subdivision addresses are assigned within 14 business days of receipt of a final plat. This allows time for the plat to be processed and entered into GIS. Parcels must be drawn in GIS before addresses are assigned.
Street Name Approval
New street names require approval and must not duplicate or closely resemble the name of an existing street. A street name approval form must be completed and faxed to the Address Coordinator, Lee Snuggs at 704-920-2146 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If approved, the new street name will be placed on reserve until a preliminary plat is received. Response will be by email.
