Master Gardener Volunteers are volunteers who help me do my job of teaching people about plants. They work very hard to put on an annual herb festival for the public in April. In the fall they help conduct the environmental field days for the sixth graders in conjunction with the county fair. They also develop and educational booth for the county fair, and staff various home and garden show booths along with special projects. The Cabarrus County Master Gardeners meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am. The location is normally the extension office. Meetings are open to the public
