The Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority provides for the issuance of revenue bonds to aid in financing industrial pollution control facilities or industrial manufacturing facilities that provide job opportunities and solutions for alleviating unemployment and raising the average wages for manufacturing jobs.
The authority consists of seven members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Meetings are conducted on an "as needed" basis.
Appointments are for six-year terms.
