David Thrift has been with the County for more than a decade. He has served as a:

• Real property appraiser
• Real property supervisor
• Real property manager
• Interim tax administrator

David earned an associate’s degree from Brunswick Community College. He studied business management and organization development at Appalachian State University and Mt. Olive College.

Prior to joining the County, he worked in banking, marketing and real estate.
