The Juvenile Crime Prevention Council:
- reviews the needs of at-risk youth
- evaluates juvenile services and programs
- promotes public awareness
- develops intervention strategies
- provides funding for services, treatment and counseling
The council consists of 26 members. These members include judicial and agency representatives, as well as seven at-large representatives.
Appointments are for two-year terms.
