July 7, 2014 – Beginning this year, Harrisburg residents will receive one tax bill for both Town of Harrisburg and Cabarrus County property taxes. Tax bills are expected to be mailed to residents in mid-July and are due on September 1, 2014.

The transition to a single tax bill processed by Cabarrus County is more cost-effective for the Town of Harrisburg while allowing residents to continue to make payments online. With the new system, taxpayers will now be able to view their consolidated tax bill online through the bill inquiry link on the County website.

All outstanding taxes prior to 2014 will be paid through the Town of Harrisburg. Payments can be made by mail to the Town of Harrisburg, 4100 Main St., Suite 101, Harrisburg NC 28075 or in person at Harrisburg Town Hall, 4100 Main St., Suite 101 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Effective immediately, Town of Harrisburg tax payments will no longer be accepted online. Call Harrisburg Customer Service at 704-455-5614 with questions.
