Welcome to the Register of Deeds Office website. The Register of Deeds is legal custodian of and responsible for recording, indexing, storing and preserving Cabarrus County births, deaths, marriage records, veteran discharges, notary public records, subdivision maps, condo plans and all land related documents such as deeds, deeds of trust, agreements and many other types. After recording, the documents are considered public record and made available to the public in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes by which this office is governed. The Cabarrus County Register of Deeds Office is a self-supporting fee based office.
Linda F. McAbee has served as the Cabarrus County Register of Deeds since September 1999.
