
The Cabarrus County Public Library provides for the cultural, educational and recreational needs of all County citizens by providing equal access to a variety of books, materials, programs, resources and information that meet and exemplify the diverse needs of those we serve. We provide a customer service oriented, knowledgeable and well trained staff that promotes enjoyment of reading and supports pursuit of lifelong learning. We have libraries in Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis and Mt Pleasant.
New Online Form For Requesting Purchases - Can’t find what you are looking for in our catalog? The Cabarrus County Public Library is excited to announce our new online Request for Purchase Form. We welcome your recommendations for titles to be added to our collection and now have a quick way for you to request those items directly from our catalog. All you need is a library card and an email address. Just select the Suggest a Book link from the library’s catalog and fill in the form. When a decision is made regarding your request, you will be notified via email.
The Concord Standard from 1888 - 1899 is now digitized and searchable online. DigitalNC is helping to preserve NC heritage through digital projects that include newspapers, yearbooks, photographs and more. Explore the history and culture of NC through original materials from cultural heritage repositories across the state.
Downloadable ebooks are now available! We are happy to announce that we have over 1,000 children’s, teen and adult titles available from Axis 360 Digital Media Library. The ebooks are available for download to your computer, ipad, ipod, Android device, Nook, Kobo, Sony Reader or Kindle Fire. More devices will be compatible soon! To download an ebook you just need a library card.
