Cabarrus Helping Hearts and Hands, commonly referred to as Ch3, provides a way for Cabarrus County employees to come together as a group to support the community.
Ch3 was formed in 2004 by employees as a convenient way to make voluntary, tax deductible contributions to local nonprofit organizations with the assurance that 100 percent of funds collected will be dispersed to the selected local charities. Throughout the year, employees also have a number of opportunities to participate in special projects and events such as collection drives and volunteer opportunities to assist local nonprofit organizations with specific needs.
