K-9 Capers
Non-profit Katie's Kidz d/b/a K-9 Capers has now joined the Cabarrus County 4-H to continue our mission of helping youth to learn how to solve problems in a positive manner and to instill positive character development such as empathy, respect and responsibility through animal-assisted programs. K-9 Capers meets weekly during the school calendar for dog-training instruction and various field trips to explore K-9 Sports. We will have on-going summer programs such as a week long summer Camp, Tail Waggin' Tutors reading program and community service programs such as Pet Safety and Empathy. Our 4-H meeting will be the first(1st) Saturday of the Month at the Saddle Club 10:30-12 unless notified otherwise. Please contact our office 704.721.6757 to learn how to volunteer or to become a member. You do not need to own a pet to join! Club is for ages 5-19. Jr. Handlers Training Club is for ages 9-18.
