This 3-member commission works closely with the Cabarrus County Soil and Water Conservation Office and seeks to improve the County's water resources. Activities include efforts to reduce flooding, improve water quality and quantity and to reduce future problems through erosion control, water storage, cover protection, and education.
Appointments are for terms of six years.
