Food Policy Council

The Food Policy Council purposes to identify and strengthen ties between the food, health, natural resource protection, economic development and agricultural communities. The council generates policy recommendations, performs research, creates strategies for development and provides educational opportunities aimed at increasing the overall health of the local community.

The council is comprised of 21 members and 2 alternates and is open to applicants from all areas of Cabarrus County.
