The Cabarrus County Fair is held each September at Cabarrus Arena and Events Center on Highway 49 in Concord. The Fair features music performances, midway rides, games, food, a petting zoo, agriculture education, exhibits and more.

Provides general maintenance to facilities, grounds, fleet and street signs owned by Cabarrus County.

Provides computer and communication services including; business and data services, technical architectural services, network data and telecommunications services, web development, application development and GIS.
Offers adult and juvenile collections, reference resources, Internet access and CD and DVD checkout at four library facilities and through a bookmobile.

Provides parks, trails, and open space; year–round athletic programs; and special events to enhance the quality of life.
Register of Deeds
Records and maintains official documents including marriage licenses, birth certificates, death certificates and land records.
Sheriff
Enforces and maintains public safety. Divisions include Animal Control, Civil/Records, Crime Scene, Communications, Community Policing, Courthouse Security, DARE/School Resource Officers, Jail and Patrol.
Social Services
Provides financial assistance, protective services, and an array of services to help individuals and families maintain/enhance health, safety and well-being.
Solid Waste Management
Provides recycling programs and operates a household hazardous waste facility, a construction and demolition landfill, and garbage disposal and recycling center.
Tax Administration
Oversees the listing and assessing of all real, personal and business property, maintains real estate ownership through land records and collects county taxes.
Provides transportation services that enable all eligible individuals to access necessary medical care and other resources that can improve and enhance their quality of life. By providing transportation for essential services, we promote an independent lifestyle that allows individuals to remain in their homes as long as possible.
Veterans Services
Assists local veterans in securing aid with health benefits, pensions, compensation, insurance, home loans and education assistance.
