- Cabarrus County offices observe Martin Luther King Jr. holiday
  Offices will close Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday, Jan. 17.
- Apply for property tax exclusions beginning January 1
  Homeowners who are elderly or disabled can apply for certain property tax exclusions beginning January 1.

- Local non-profits can ‘shop’ for free surplus office equipment
  Non-profit agencies can shop for free office supplies, furniture and equipment at the Cabarrus County Surplus Giveaway on Jan. 19.
- Cabarrus County observes Christmas and New Year’s Day
