Channel 22 Wins Four Awards in Statewide Competition
May 6, 2010 – Cabarrus County’s Communications and Outreach Office received four awards for television and video programming from North Carolina City and County Communicators (NC3C), a statewide association of professionals who work in the public information and communications fields for local governments. The competition was judged by an independent panel of national award–winning professionals.
Three of the awards are for television programs that appeared on Cabarrus County’s Channel 22, a local cable channel offering programming of relevance to Cabarrus County citizens. The “I Give” video won first place for One–Time Special Programming. This video was produced for Cabarrus County’s annual employee charitable campaign, called Cabarrus Helping Hearts and Hands.
