Share Your Input of How Harrisburg Area is Developed in Future

November 6, 2009 – Cabarrus County, in cooperation with the Town of Harrisburg, will be creating a new land use plan for a pre–defined area in and around Harrisburg, which is loosely bounded by the Rocky River, Rocky River Road and the Mecklenburg County line. The plan will guide leaders of Cabarrus County, the Town of Harrisburg and Cabarrus County Schools as they consider new development and school construction in this area.

Please come out for the Kickoff Community Meeting Thursday, November 12 at 7 pm at Harrisburg Elementary School to learn about the Harrisburg Area Land Use Planning effort and to share your ideas about how the Harrisburg areashould be developed in the future.
