Cabarrus County Fire Marshal's Office is committed to keeping the citizens of Cabarrus County safe through fire inspection and public education. Our office consists of a Fire Marshal and two Assistant Fire Marshals. Our office conducts periodic inspections of businesses, Fire Investigations, and provides fire education/life safety classes to the citizens of Cabarrus County. Fire inspectors provide a number of other inspection services including tent, blasting, daycare, foster care, fireworks usage, hazardous materials inventory, group homes, and other types of courtesy inspections.
The Fire Marshal's Office has also implemented a juvenile fire setter intervention program. This program is designed to reach high-risk children that have shown or are beginning to show patterns of fire-setting behavior. Parents, guardians and concerned individuals are always encouraged to call if they should have questions or concerns relating to this type of behavior. The goal for all of the programs is to prevent accidents, fires and injuries and most importantly to prevent the loss of life and property.
